FB GROUP has signed a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) agreement in February 2026 for the development of a new mixed-use hospitality complex within the premises of Freetown International Airport in Sierra Leone.
Building on its role as the current operator of Freetown International Airport, FB GROUP continues to expand its integrated airport development approach by introducing hospitality and executive facilities that will enhance the airport ecosystem.
The project will consist of:
- A Hotel
- A Congress Center
- Presidential Villas
The Congress Center and Presidential Villas are scheduled to be completed within 6 months, while the Hotel is planned for completion within 9 months.
The project will be delivered under an EPC+F (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Financing) model, reflecting FB GROUP’s capability to provide fully integrated solutions from development to operation.
This strategic investment aims to support the growing demand for high-quality accommodation and event facilities, while strengthening Freetown’s position as a regional hub for business and international travel.
